JC Art and Studio Tour

The Jersey City Art & Studio Tour, formerly the Jersey City Artists Studio Tour, is in its 24th year and is the largest cultural event in Jersey City.

The JCAST serves to showcase the talents of Jersey City’s diverse and burgeoning artistic community in mediums that span from paintings to performance with an event weekend packed to the brim with celebrations in every corner of Jersey City.

The JCAST attracts thousands of visitors from the tri-state area that tour private studios, galleries, local businesses, and pop-up spaces. Artists are provided the opportunity to introduce their work to the community, make connections, and celebrate the arts.

Participating venues and businesses benefit by seeing a significant increase in traffic
throughout the event weekend with additional exposure through 10,000 tour maps,
distributed citywide. A mobile application, interactive website, and collectible program will increase visibility for the JCAST, its participants, and sponsors.

The 2013 JCAST featured over 700 participating artists exhibiting in over 120 venues, with thousands turning out to embark on the tour. The flagship location, The TenMarc Building on 430 Communipaw Avenue, housed 17 separately curated
exhibitions with over 450 pieces of art, theatrical performers, visual artists, and musicians. TenMarc also hosted the much anticipated community kick-off party which was enjoyed by hundreds and sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin, Art In The Age, NJ Beer Company, and many more.

The JCAST is part of the City of Jersey City’s commitment to continued arts programming for its citizens under Mayor Steven M. Fulop’s vision for further developing Jersey City as an arts and culture mecca.

Join us in making this the most celebrated Art & Studio Tour in its history.
